We are thrilled to bring BougeBouge and Head2Core Foundation together around a shared belief: the power of sport to empower individuals, build connections, and promote better mental health.
On November 1, 2026, Mount Royal, a true natural gem in the heart of Montreal, will come alive with runners, walkers, families, friends, and corporate teams. Surrounded by winding trails and the beautiful colours of fall, everyone can choose a distance that suits their level and enjoy a day centered around sport, community, and a meaningful cause.

BougeBouge Mont-Royal Marathon
Take part in BougeBouge on the legendary Mount Royal, Montreal’s green lung! đČ
Choose from distances of 1 km, 2.5 km, 5 km, 10 km, 21.1 km, or 42.2 km, and come exercise solo, with family, or with friends in an energizing and inspiring atmosphere. Discover this iconic place where nature, challenge, and fun come together!
BougeBouge is a non-profit organization founded by two-time Olympian Kathy Tremblay.
Our organization aims to prevent physical dropout among teenagers, young families, and retirees by bringing together people interested in active living in our communities.
All of our initiatives are based on the principle of self-motivations and centre on education, autonomy, the development of a sense of competence, and the need for social connection.

Bib pick up
Saturday, October 31, 2026
- Time: 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
- Place: MAXI, 50 avenue Mont-Royal Ouest, Montréal, Québec H2T 2S3
NOTE:
- A colleague can pick up bibs for a group.
- A limited number of new registrations will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that prices may vary from one event to another, with last-minute registrations generally costing more once taxes and platform fees are included. Expect an additional minimum fee of $10 on top of the standard rates at the end of a transaction for all distances.
On-site registration
On-site registrations are accepted up to one hour before the start time of the selected race. To avoid delays and ensure your participation, we strongly recommend registering online in advance.
No spots or bibs are guaranteed on-site, and no delayed starts will be allowed.
Deadline to receive a personalized bib
To receive a personalized bib with your first name, you must be registered no later than 10 days before the event.
Registrations completed after this deadline will receive a standard bib.
Medal distribution
Personalized medals are only available during online registration and must be added to your order when selecting your race distance.
Once online registration is closed, it is no longer possible to purchase them through BougeBouge.
Participants who purchased a personalized medal will receive it when picking up their bib. It can be attached to the generic keychain-style medal given at the finish line.
Please note: All participants will receive the standard BougeBouge finish medal upon arrival.
Bib number transfer policy
You can make a free bib transfer during the bib pick-up period with proof of payment of the ticket to be exchanged.
Registration fee
- Ticket prices: check the box office at the top of the page.
- Prices will increase by $5 per month during the 90 days prior to the event.
- A platform fee of $2.95 +3% of transaction as well as GST and QST will be added to your order.
- Online registration closes the Thursday before the event.
Payment methods
- New registration by bank transfer, during the number collection period only.
- Online ticketing: Visa, Mastercard, Paypal.
Cancellation Policy
- Race tickets are non-refundable unless cancelled by BougeBouge. In this case, BougeBouge will refund the ticket price and the service fee charged at the time of purchase.
Included in registration
- A finisher’s prize will be given to you at the finish line and can vary according to the season such as: a cap, a toque, a bandana, a key chain, a t-shirt etc. The organizers reserve a surprise for all the races.
- Photographers will publish a photo album of the event on our Facebook page! Like our Facebook page in order to receive notifications of uploaded photos!
Headphones
The Quebec Athletics Federation does not recommend wearing headphones during the race. If you choose to run with music, you must still be able to hear external sounds, such as another runner asking you to move aside or a volunteer giving you instructions. This is for your safety and the safety of other participants and volunteers.
Locker Room
You can leave your personal belongings at the participant bib pick-up area. You will need to write your bib number on a sticker and attach it to your bag.
A few volunteers will be available to assist you, but please note that you are entirely responsible for your personal belongings. You must drop off and pick up your belongings yourself.
The organization is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items.
Parking and Public Transportation
Parking lotsÂ
The park offers 5 paid parking lots with one to two spaces reserved for people with reduced mobility. More information here
- Near the Lac-aux-Castors pavilion: 2 parking lots are open from 6 a.m. to midnight.
- At the Maison Smith: 2 parking lots are open from 6 a.m. to midnight. Some spaces are currently unavailable due to construction work.
- BelvédÚre Camillien-Houde: a parking lot is open from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.
How to Get There by Public Transportation
- From Metro Mont-Royal:Â Bus 11 (west), stop at Remembrance/Chemin du Chalet or Lac-aux-Castors.
- From Metro CĂŽte-des-Neiges:Â Bus 165 (south), stop at Forest Hill. Then transfer to Bus 11 (east) and stop at Remembrance/Chemin du Chalet or Lac-aux-Castors.
Washrooms
The restrooms at the Pavillon du Lac-aux-Castors will be available, and portable restrooms will be set up along the course. See Google Maps for details.
Aid Station
One or more aid stations will be available along the course. Check the “MyMap“ tab to see the locations of the aid stations on the course.
Timing
The timing of the course is done by the company sportstats. By clicking on this link, you will find your results.
The results will be classified by age category (U5, 6-7, 8-9, 10-12, 13-14, 15-19, 20-29, … until 60 years +)
Cut-offs and Split Times
To ensure safety and smooth race management, cut-offs (time limits) are set at various points along the course. After these times, continuing the race will no longer be permitted.
Recommended split times help you manage your pace throughout the event.

All our running events are organized with the Quebec Athletics Federation (FAQ).
All distances are certified as trail runs.
Eco-responsability
Please put the waste in the right containers.
Do not throw waste on the ground during your activity.
Bring your water bottle to fill up at the tap before the start and to refill at the water stations during your run, as no cups will be provided on the course.
