Tenorio

The area of the Tenorio volcano is famous for its celestial blue river that bathes a beautiful waterfall, all set against a backdrop of tropical forest still very much preserved from the impact of man.

In the Tenorio National Park, you can take the path that leads to the Rio Celeste waterfall. Take the hike to the famous “Teinturier”, where the two rivers mix to form the perfect alchemy that gives the Rio Celeste its special color. (Between 2 and 3 hours of hiking).
