Split, a coastal town in Croatia, in the province of Dalmatia, is particularly known for its beaches and the Diocletian’s Palace (UNESCO World Heritage), a kind of fortress, built by the Roman emperor, named Docletian, in the 4th century. Other cultural and historical monuments of that time constitute the beauty of the city.

This city is 1700 years old and is a cultural, tourist and administrative center. It is an attractive destination for many tourists thanks to its many beaches, islands, fresh produce markets like the one in Pazar, its festival “Split Summer” but also for its lively streets, bars and restaurants.
