Paris, also known as the City of Light, is the capital of France. One of its most famous symbols is the Eiffel Tower, built by Gustave Eiffel for the Universal Exposition of 1889. Close to the Eiffel Tower is the Arc de Triomphe, also very famous, where you can see the sunset from the Arch. We will not forget to mention the Sacré Coeur, the Louvre’s pyramid, the Luxembourg gardens and the Senate, Versailles and so many other charming and historical places.
Paris is also a city of gastronomy, culture (museums, theaters), and history; architecture lovers can stroll through the streets to admire the Haussmannian works. The shopping addicts are not left out and enjoy the great shopping centers and lively districts (Les Halles, Montparnasse, rue de Rennes ….) and department stores (Printemps, Galeries Lafayette, BHV …)
