Photographers will publish a photo album of the event on our page Facebook! Like our Facebook page or Instagram to receive notifications when photos are uploaded!
Headphones
The athletic federation of Ontario does not recommend wearing headphones during the race. If you wish to run with music, you must be able to hear outside sounds such as a runner asking you to yield or a volunteer giving you instructions. This is for your safety and that of other participants and volunteers. Due to the complexity of the course, its stairs, and narrow corridors, strollers will not be allowed to access the event and run the 5km.
Stairs
There are two very important rules regarding the stairs: the use of mechanical escalators is prohibited, and no step should be climbed or descended two at a time. In other words, skipping steps is not allowed; they must be climbed and descended one by one.
Locker Room
There will be a locker room available, but you must place all your items in a pre-prepared garbage bag or large bag. A sticker with your bib number will be provided for you to attach to your bag. Don’t forget your bag, otherwise, you won’t be able to leave your clothes at the locker room.
Toilets
Use public facilities everywhere on the course.
Water Station:
At the end, only in your race bag.
Timing
The course timing is done by the sportstats company. By clicking on this link, you will find your results.
Results will be categorized by age group (U5, 6-7, 8-9, 10-12, 13-14, 15-19, 20-29, … up to 70+ years)
Starts will be done in waves
Red: under 29 minutes
Yellow: 30-34 minutes
Blue: 35-45 minutes
Green: 46 minutes and above
Cut-offs and Split Times
To ensure safety and smooth race management, cut-offs (time limits) are set at various points along the course. After these times, continuing the race will no longer be permitted.
Recommended split times help you manage your pace throughout the event.
Please consult our full split times table for all kilometers here: Complete List of Split Times
Respecting these times is essential for your safety, event logistics, and the quality of the experience for all participants.
