Vaccination Passport

  1. The Vaccine Passport is mandatory to participate in the race.
  2. You must have the Vaxicode application on your phone or print your QR code.
  3. 2 pieces of identification will be required to validate your identity with the QR code presented.
  4. You must validate your QR code with your 2 pieces of identification before picking up your bib. Plan to arrive early so that the team can validate your QR code in a timely manner.
  5. No QR code sent in advance will be accepted.
  6. No refunds for missing or invalid vaccination passports.

 

Participants from outside of Quebec

Individuals travelling to Quebec will be required to present photo identification and proof (provided by their country or Canadian province) that they have received two doses of a recognized vaccine from among the following:

Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca, Covishield, Janssen (requires only one dose)

 

Key Health Measures

We follow the recommendations of public health and the guidelines of the Quebec Athletic Federation. Here is an overview of the main measures:

1. Mandatory hand disinfection upon entering and leaving the site.

2. When you pick up your bib, the team will validate your vaccination passport or the printout of your QR code. If it is invalid, you cannot participate in the race.

3. As soon as you arrive at the competition site, the wearing of a mask is mandatory for all participants aged 10 years and over if you are unable to respect the 1 m distance. The mask can be removed at the start of the race while respecting the 1m distance.

4. There will be several hand sanitizing stations on site and near the restrooms.

5. The 1m distance must be respected at all times.

 

Location: Outdoor tents near the bike path at Quai 5160 – Maison de la culture de Verdun 5160 bd LaSalle, Verdun, QC H4H 1N8

September 24th from 5pm to 6:30pm
September 25th from 10am to 1pm
September 26th from 7am to 8:30am

On the 26th, arrive at least 45 minutes prior to departure to validate the QR code on your immunization passport.

Start time

8:30 a.m. Start of the 42.2km Marathon (4 loops of 10.55km) – Maximum time to complete the marathon is five (5) hours
9:00 a.m. Start of the 10km (1 loop of 10km) – Start on Manning Street (550m from the finish line)

  1. A platform fee of $2.95 as well as GST and QST will be added to your order.
    Online registration will close on Sunday, one week before the event.
    You can transfer your bib on site when you pick up your participant kit.Cancellation and refund policyIn the event that the event must be cancelled or held in an adapted manner, including a virtual race, for reasons beyond the control of the organizing committee such as weather or a pandemic situation including Covid-19 and/or any other case of major force, no refund will be possible.

Your time and bib number will be posted on the SportStats website

Water:

There will be water stations on the course, at three locations on your loop. Ideally we ask that you bring your own water (water belt, etc.) if you want to drink it during your race to avoid tampering of the water cups.

The participant’s kit

When you pick up your race number, we will also give you the toque and the rest will be given to you at the end of your race.
At your arrival we will give you your finisher’s ribbon, water bottle and your snack.

We don’t offer a conventional medal, but rather an eco-friendly BougeBouge ribbon!

Timing :

Gun start and SportsStats manual timing (2021).
Results will be by age category ( U5, 6-7, 8-9, 10-12, 13-14, 15-19, 20-29… up to 60+)

Course :

Secured (volunteer service, police, cadet)
Mile markers and signage on the course
First aid service at the start and finish line

Water station

On the course with access to each loop. We suggest that you bring your own bottle if needed.

 

Toilets

One outdoor chemical toilet near the start, 2 chemical toilets near the Crescendo restaurant and you will also have access to the public toilets officially indicated by the borough on the course.

Eco-responsible instructions:

Please put the waste in the right bins.
Do not throw waste or masks on the ground during your activity
Bring your own water bottle for refilling at the tap

We work very hard to ensure that all our events meet our eco-friendly goals.

  1. This race is affiliated with the Quebec Track and Field Federation.
    It is forbidden to start with a dog.
