Inspired by the beauty of the river, we present you a new discipline at the next edition of BougeBouge Verdun: “Bike & Run”.

  1. A $ 2.95 platform fee as well as the GST and QST taxes will be added to the shopping cart.
  2. No refund is possible for any reason.
  3. Online registrations will end on Sunday, one week before the event.
  4. You can do a bib transfer while retrieving your participant kit.
  5. For a late registration, you will have to present yourself at any race kit pick-ups. You will have to pay by cash or bank transfer. No check, credit/debit card or promo code will be accepted.
  6. No registration the day of the event.

IMPORTANT:

  • A colleague can pick up the bib of his friend or group with proof of registration.
  • No bib pick up on the day of the event.
  • Every finisher will receive a prize (some exceptions apply).
  • Personalized bib.
  • Gifts to the top three “finisher ” men/women by race.

  • The results will be timed by Sportstats. We will have results by age category (U5, 6-7, 8-9, 10-12, 13-14, 15-19, 20-29… until 60 years old+).

This race is affiliated with the Quebec Athletics Federation.

Bathrooms will be available at :

  • High School Monseigneur Richard
  • Arthur-Therrien Park
  • On the cycle path at Maison Nivard-De Saint-Dizier ( ICI )

There will be water station on the course and snack and refreshing drinks will also be waiting for you at the finish line.

Water station:

  • At the u-turn of the 5km loop, on both sides of the bike path at the CSSS  (map here: street height, here waterfront height)
  • At the turn of the 10km, a few meters after the entrance of the bike path on rue Lacharité, on the bike path at the height of 7427 boul. Lasalle here

You can go to the event site via the Champlain Bridge (Highway 20) or Honoré-Mercier (Route 138).

You will find parking at :
  1. Monseigneur Richard High School
  2. Verdun Auditorium (cost may be applied)
  3. Wellington Street, between the streets De l’Église and Hickson (cost may be applied)
  4. Streets around

The closest metro station is :

– Lasalle or De L’Église

You can put your bags in the sports locker room at Monseigneur-Richard High School (plan to bring a padlock) or in the gym near the information desk.

Take note that we are not responsible for losses and theft.

Eco-responsible regulation :

  • Please put the waste in the good recovery tank.
  • Do not throw rubbish on the ground during your activity.
  • Bring your own water bottle for filling at the tap.
  • Team of two, each with a helmet.
  • A team bike.
  • The bike must always be in possession of one of the two athletes (you can not put it on the ground).
  • Athletes must always be nearby : a small distance of about 10m between the athletes during the bike change will be accepted.
  • Athletes change when they want and where they want.
  • Departure is to be determined according to the number of participants. Sometimes the bikes wait 500m after the start to stretch the peloton and do not obstruct at the start.
